Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has tweeted on social media platform, X, "we're all human and anything is prone to happen" and it has gotten concerned football loving Nigerians who went to his comment section to beg for answers
During the group of 16 knockout match between super eagles of Nigeria against Cameroon last weekend, Nwabali was stretched off after he was injured while trying to save a ball mid air but however landed in a wrong position. He has impressed since taking over the goalkeeping gloves from Francis Uzoho, displaying confidence goal keeping around the goal post. Hence Nigerians want him to continue the good job and not be hammered by injury.
